OverSeeIt Program

OverSeeIt ProgramReplacing a roof? Having a new home built? Remodeling a bathroom? Adding a deck?
We'll make sure your contractor does it right!

Have Bluestone Inspections certified inspector stop by and check to see that the work is being done properly before it's too late! We can also approve the completed job before you make the final payment to the contractor. I offer reasonable rates to have myself, a third-party, certified inspector look at your project.

As a project manager, site superintendent, owner of a general contracting firm, as well as a civil engineering technologist my past experience and knowledge give you the confidence you're looking for to ensure your project is done right!

The OverSeeIt program offers a variety of services:

  • Project and contractor oversight.
  • New construction phase inspections.
  • Final walk-through inspections.
  • Annual inspections for home and commercial property owners.
  • Foreclosure inspections.
  • Insurance inspections.

Pre-Warranty Expiration Inspections

Pre-warranty InspectionsWarranty inspections (Tarion) are performed during the 11th month of your 1-year Builder Warranty. The inspection will be performed to verify that proper building techniques were used and that the various components of the home were properly installed. You will be presented with a completed report at the end of the inspection along with digital photos taken as needed to support any claims.

Pool/Spa Inspections

Pool InspectionA beautiful-looking pool should not fool you into thinking everything is okay. You need to have piece of mind knowing, for instance, that the pool is properly plumbed, that all equipment, skimmers, lights are working properly, and that GFCIs are properly installed. You need to avoid being caught off guard if costly repairs are needed. A pool inspection is money and time well spent. What is included in a pool or spa inspection? The condition of all accessible components of the pool, equipment and surrounding environment are evaluated, including a safety checkup of the pool and pool area. We note the condition of the pool walls, coping, stairs, skimmers, diving board, ladders, filter and multiport valve, pump and motor, chlorinator, heater, automatic cleaner, underwater lights, time clock, valves, fencing, decks, winter cover and spa if applicable.

Since homes vary in size, age and features, please call (905-719-5475) or email ( for a guaranteed lowest price quote, tailored just for you and your home!

Choosing a home inspector based on price alone is a recipe for disaster. So you don't waste your money, we recommend your inspector (such as myself) has a construction and engineering background and has been performing inspections for a minimum of  5 years.
